Birding and Colony Counts, North Park, CO, June 2012
15–18 June 2012

Mary Cay Burger and I joined the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory (RMBO) and Legacy Land Trust for a weekend of RMBO ColonyWatch bird counting and visiting Verl and Ann Brown's Owl Mountain Ranch. We were headquartered at the Antler's Inn, Walden, CO. On Sunday, Mary and I drove into Rocky Mountain National Park for two days of hiking and birding. Weather was cool in Walden but 90s and up to 50 mph winds in RMNP. Click on photo to enlarge. |
