Birding and Colony Counts, North Park, CO, June 2012

15–18 June 2012

Mary Cay Burger and I joined the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory (RMBO) and Legacy Land Trust for a weekend of RMBO ColonyWatch bird counting and visiting Verl and Ann Brown's Owl Mountain Ranch. We were headquartered at the Antler's Inn, Walden, CO. On Sunday, Mary and I drove into Rocky Mountain National Park for two days of hiking and birding. Weather was cool in Walden but 90s and up to 50 mph winds in RMNP.
